Shelley Valdez, NP

Shelley Valdez, NP is a native of south Texas and lives in Corpus Christi, Tx. She graduated from Texas A&M University Kingsville with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree but had a desire to work in healthcare. She obtained an associate degree in registered nursing from Del Mar College and worked as a pediatric nurse at Driscoll Children’s Hospital for many years, obtaining knowledge and experience in many areas of nursing including ICU, orthopedics, neurology, and nephrology. During that timeframe, she also worked as an adult home health nurse providing nursing care to those in the community and surrounding communities.

Shelley’s strive for knowledge prompted a return to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing with Western Governors University. She then immediately transitioned to post graduate studies, graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Master of Science degree in nursing.

Shelley is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
